Poland reconsidering Afghanistan
The Polish Ministry of Defense has commissioned two advisers to draw up an analysis of Poland’s involvement in the Afghanistan mission.
It's not a surprise to anybody watching political debates in Poland. Majority of Polish voters are against this mission. Government tells voters that this responsibility comes with the NATO membership and that it is also a test for the military, but the doubts are there. Now, with Obama's lack of clear strategy and voices in his own party to pull out (not to mention obvious sellout to Russia), the issue is raised again.
